Long-time homeschoolers begin to create their own "shorthand" on forums and boards that can leave newbie home educators with that what-just-happened-here look on their faces. The following list of homeschooling acronyms and abbreviations is designed to help those who are new to the universe begin to find their way around more easily. (Most of the terms on this list relate specifically to SECULAR resources, although there are plenty of other shorthand terms for faith-based ones)
