Hello from Germany!
Hi! We are new to this forum, homeschooling and Germany. Our intentions were to enroll them in American schools while we are here but for several reasons we quickly decided this would not be good for our boys(8, 6 and 4), so homeschooling it is! To finish out the school year we'll be doing BrainQuest workbooks because they were the only thing I could find after making our quick decision, nature studies (with help from the internet, I hope) and trips the the library, I hope this is enough. We have a huge homeschool network here that organizes field trips, co-ops and other activities for the kids and I am very thankful they are here. I've been researching boxed curriculum for 2012/2013 and I'm not really sure where to begin, haha! I've looked at Sonlight(trying to figure out how to secularize it), Calvert and Oak Meadow, all seem good but we are not sure. I'd really like to do something like unit studies with a little waldorf thrown in, I think that would fit the boys best, I think haha! Anyway, thanks for having me

Hello and welcome to the forum, Cortney. Are you an Air Force family too?
If you're in the Kaiserslautern area, yes, they have a big homeschool group!
