Two Mom Family in Wisconsin
Hello!
We are a two mom family in Wisconsin with 6 and 2 year old little girls. Add in a cat, dog and rabbit and there you have it!
I work out of the home and handle all our schooling, my wife works in manufacturing.
We started homeschooling when our oldest was about three years old with basic learning through play. We are huge Build Your Library fans! We also love Explode the Code, Elemental Science and Miquon Math.
We will try anything once!
(Also, I use way to many exclamation points. I apologize in advance.)

Welcome to the forums. I'm used to extra exclamation points. My dd uses them all the time. In fact, when she learned about factorial notation in math (n!), she claimed it was just an excited n.

Welcome! Another fan of ! here. I remember in a college writing course, the prof said we were allowed two ! per semester. Geesh!! I could use that many in a sentence!
Lots of Wisconsin emigrees here too.... Im one myself! One winter my family headed south until we no longer needed jackets, and have been in San Diego ever since.
Ive also been a philosophical homeschooler - doing it because its what I want to do, not an accidental or public school refugee homeschooler.Homeschooling DS11, DS5.
Atheist.
My spelling and typing are fine, its my keyboard that doesnt cooperate.

Two exclamation marks in submitted work = reasonable.
Two exclamation marks in an online forum = totally not enough.
Welcome to the forum. We were also big Miquon fans when my boys were that age.Want to read about my homeschool?

SO glad to have you here, and SO glad there's another exclamation point fanatic!! (anything that makes me feel less self-concscious about my erratic emotional state is a good thing)
I'm thrilled that you found the forum and I hope you'll thoroughly enjoy taking part in convos here. We're a pretty doggone supportive crew around here, and we'd love to hear what's going on in your homeschool (or any other) world at any given time. Please do come hang out often.
