Yes, I've discovered one! Facebook has a "HOW" group, or Homeschoolers of Whatcom County. There is a subgroup for parents of homeschooling tweens/teens. They have a few events going on. We are going to a tween/teen skate this Sat at the Bham Sportsplex from 130-4. In addition to my 12 yo boy, there will be 11 and 12 yo girls in attendance. Let me know if you would like more info!

Hi SkylightMT! We will be starting to homeschool with our 11 year old next fall, similarly wanting to make sure she has lots of chances to connect with peers. Did you end up trying the FPP? Thinking of that as well. I just joined the Facebook page for HOW as well.
(Confession: we are Christians, but...not homeschooling for that reason. I don't always click with the WHA families either.)
