Default Any opinion on Aleks or Thinkwell?

I am looking for a computer based math curriculum for my ds. He is going to be starting Algebra 1. He is not a mathy person and I have found he prefers learning via computer for most things.
We tried Teaching Textbooks years ago and did not care for it. We have used Math-U-See and, while it worked for him, I felt like there were a lot of gaps. I am not sure if that still applies to the high school levels.
Any thoughts on Aleks or Thinkwell?

    Thanks.

They're both solid options. "Not mathy" makes me think Teaching Textbooks, but you already know it didn't work for you. I'd try ALEKS first, I think. It has a reputation for being a little easier than Thinkwell.
