    Default Resumes for teens

Working through writing a resume with my teen and we are wondering about what to include in the education section. He's done a 12 week business and entrepreneurial course which we are going to include but wondered if we should offer any specifics re be homeschooled. I do not think it will work against him to say he's homeschooled but we aren't really sure how to include it.

Definitely include any outside classes. In addition to listing "Homeschool" under education, my kids included areas of specialization. For example, it is writing for my daughter (NaNoWriMo, NaNaBloMo, blog writing, creative writing under 4-H, etc). For my son, it's computer programming, with languages learned and links to downloadable programs he's written. Hope this helps!

Homeschooled two kids for 11 years, now trying to pay it forward

Daughter (22), a University of Iowa senior triple majoring in English with Creative Writing, Journalism, and Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies

Son (21), a Purdue University junior majoring in Computer Science, minoring in math, geology, anthropology, and history
