BBC dance mat typing
So, Raven started this and liked it, but told me its gotten too hard. I told him to try going back a level to reveiw - has anyone else had this experience? any suggestions? I admit he's doing it independently and i'm kinda not in touch with it at all

I've had DS go through at least most of the levels a couple of times, since he gets so little "real life" typing practice. I think unless Raven types regularly (like composes emails or whatever, not playing games), it would definitely be beneficial to review lessons. Also if he waits awhile-a few days or more- between lessons. I hope he doesn't get discouraged.

We've worked through several levels repeatedly. It helps.

thanks. i dont want him to give up, i'll just keep encouraging him to take it slow. Heron used Mavis Beacon about 2 years later than this, totally on her own, but Orion used Spongebob typing, this same age, and completed it totally independently as well. I'm starting to worry that I'm failing Raven in some major way since he wont do as much school work as the other kids did at this age, but he is doing more than he did before . . . i do need to increase it still, tho.
