Thumbs up Moving Beyond the Page Facebook Group

A great part of this forum is learning new stuff about different curriculum. BUT, sometimes I just want to talk about MBTP with some one who has done, will do it or is in the process of doing it.

Anyone who uses this curriculum (or if you're thinking about using it) can join and post.

Currently we have the privacy set as a Closed group. Anyone searching Facebook can find the group, see who is in it, but the student work we post isn't available to anyone outside the group. I am open for discussion about this, but I felt that if we weren't showing the entire world everything we might be more likely to share.

I know there are posts and groups on all sorts of sites about HS curriculum. BUT, I happen to be on Facebook. Of course the rest of these HS parents rarely, if ever, get on FB.... especially not when they could be reviewing vocab lessons....right?

Officially the group is called Differently Schooled who use Moving Beyond the Page.
    Go!
Really, Go now. Search it. Join. POST!!!!

Think of it like the Hallway Bulletin Board. You know the kind where the teachers feature individual projects.

Actually, we just as in several days ago got internet at the house. <hears everyone gasp> I know how can you homeschool without the internet. It isn't as fun or exciting as I am learning. And I don't know much about yahoo groups.

I sent a request to join the yahoo group, but I have a dislike of yahoo groups for some reason. Just like FB better, even coming to this site is sort of hard for me. BUT it is organized and easy to use, so..... and lots of good stuff here.
