Greetings all,

I have 3 unschooling daughters. We live near Seattle. I write the Seattle Homeschooling for Beginners column at Examiner.com as well as the National Unschooling column. I also write for Suite101 and Helium and keep a blog, Unschooling Lifestyle.

My daughters presently love science, dancing, prehistoric life, marine science, art, and a lot more. They do JumpStart and play other games on the computer. Unlike a lot of unschoolers, so I hear, my kids love worksheets and a lot of other explicitly educational material. They read early and defy stereotypes in a lot of ways.

We have fun. I'm looking forward to exploring this site more.
