I found the Homeschooling Multiples very informative! I am currently using Oak Meadow kindergarten curriculum and next year I will be needing the first grade curriculum and will be using the kindergarten curriculum again for my youngest (two boys that will be 4 and 6). It always helps to hear how other people manage their homeschooling!

The Fairy Garden article was our favorite... We cleared an area along our fence line, underneath overgrown grape vines and Forsythia bushes, creating an area underneath the bushes/vines to play (as well as tunnels to exit). A few fairy statues, wind chimes, cut logs for seats, and our little boy has his own life size "fairy house".

I liked the article "Educating for the Future." I feel like we forget to include all 3 of those things when teaching about sustainability. We usually just focus on the environment part of it. I enjoyed this whole issue really.

I liked the practical tips for simple living. I feel a lot of people want to get back to their roots and a simpler way of eating and living so it rang really true for me.

I enjoyed the article 'The Joys of Authentic Engagement'. We have used eclectic methods of hsing for 6 years and then tried the virtual online school for the past 2 years. It just seemed too forced. I am eager to get back to a curriculum that integrates into our daily lives better and Oak Meadow seems like a great one to try. I would love to win this!

To me, everything described above is simply good parenting when you are talking about a 3-4 yo. It is what other parents do though they don't call it "homeschool". Just an observation.
