    Every Mystery Science lesson begins
with a Mystery that hooks your
students. Then, the narration of an
    unforgettable story told with
    stunning images and videos and
    punctuated with opportunities for
    discussion. Every lesson concludes
    with simple hands-on activities designed
to use supplies you already have (or are

So, the library is our friend, especially as homeschoolers!
I know for a fact, we couldn't live without ours and I am SO thankful that it is pretty close to our house!!

Not only do we try to visit it every other week but my boys have participated in the Summer Reading program every year since they were little.

I download and read ebooks almost weekly.

Need to find a book on something they are interested in, check the library.
Need to find a book we are missing from a series? Check the library!
Honestly, I think that Check the Library is a permanent quote in my Mom quote library!

So, how often a MONTH do you visit your library?

Our third free-trial Friday kicks off by featuring two terrific programs that you may or may not have tried before. This is your opportunity to test out these secular curricula for yourself before deciding if they are right for your homeschool.

All About Reading Pre-reading teaches Print Awareness, Phonological Awareness, Letter Knowledge, Listening Comprehension, and Motivation to Read. When teaching Letter Knowledge, you'll be instructed to complete a hands-on activity to reinforce letter recognition. Shaping playdough in the form of letters is one of the suggested activities in the list included in the Teacher's Manual. For a glimpse into this program's hands-on approach, try the printable ABC Playdough Mats offered to supplement this activity!
