Make Your Own Laundry Soap

    I make my own, too--washing soda, Borax, baking soda, castile bar soap, and a smidgen of Oxiclean. I love that our clothes don't smell perfumey like they used to (especially when I used store-bought detergent and dryer sheets).

    Yes! I usually use Tide Free & Clear for my Tide addition, but I got a great deal on the regular stuff. It gives it just enough scent - nothing overpowering. Not sure I'll continue to use this kind once this stash is used up, but I'll enjoy it for now I'm bought several boxes of dryer sheets that I made money on ... I cut them into thirds. It's been five years ... still using them
