I just got a Bill Nye book called Consider the Following (http://www.amazon.com/Bill-Science-Consider-Following-REISSUE/dp/0786814438/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1278561540&sr=8-1) I just wanted to share that it is way cool! I put a bunch of his books on my swaptree list and this is the only one we have gotten so far but it is really cool! I has all sorts of lessons with an experiment to explain them. There are chapters on getting things moving, Earth science, Life science and the science of your body! I want to try it all and not wait until the lesson hehe! It is a lot of stuff we never did in school and just browsing it I learned some stuff!

I used to watch Bill Nye "the Science Guy" on PBS growing up. I hated school but man I loved his shows. He was so enthusiastic and he made it so much fun. Need more people like him.

I agree! I have always liked him! He also recently did a show on planet green about how things work... I wonder If I can find that on DVD maybe netflix? Hmm I will have to hunt that down!

ah yes! Stuff Happens! (http://www.amazon.com/Stuff-Happens-Bill-Nye/dp/B0027M80RE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1278599320&sr=8-1) also on Netflix! IT is great for showing how everything we do has an environmental impact... Love that guy!

Bill Nye is awesome. My son and I used to watch his show years ago. The man has an incredible knack for explaining science concepts in a way that is entertaining and accessible to anyone, whether they are good in science or not.
